Wirraminna responds to the individual needs of the local community by developing services to suit their needs. Some of the services developed in response to need are:
Wirraminna can provide three course, nutritious home-style meals for people in the community. This service includes the option of collecting freshly made, hot meals directly from the ‘kitchen door’ or pre-prepared frozen meals which are labelled and dated and collected in microwave ready containers. This is a low cost service, please call Wirraminna for further information.
Local elderly people can stay at a Wirraminna hostel on weekdays while their carer attends shopping, appointments or a day’s rest. Day respite visitors mix with Wirraminna’s residents, have computer access and join in leisure activities, refreshments and meals. Although currently unfunded by external sources, these services are very affordable.
EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEM
Residents who live within Wirraminna’s call-system range can be included in our program from home. Residents can activate their call-bell in an emergency. For a small fee, Wirraminna staff monitor calls 24 hours a day.

The open spaces at the rear of Wirraminna House have been made available to members of the Williamstown community to establish and maintain a Community Garden.
