Wirraminna Care is community.

We were formed by the community, we are run by the community, our services are for the community and in turn, we are supported by the community.

Wirraminna and it’s local Williamstown community are an inseparable pair. Each giving it’s best to the other.

It is that sense of partnership that has seen many of Wirraminna’s regular fundraising events become the highlight of the Williamstown community calendar.

Excellent examples of this are our Annual Strawberry Fete and our Bi-Annual Forest Frolic.

Forest Frolic

The biennial Wirramina Forest Frolic is a truly wonderful night.

Held in the sheep yards of a local farm, this unlikely location is transformed to a glittering formal dining experience among pine trees, hundreds of fairy lights and beautiful table settings. The evening is completed with live music, a dance floor and a lively and fun auction. This very special and unique evening is much anticipated by locals and a true highlight of the Wirraminna fundraising calendar.

Strawberry Fete

The Annual Wirraminna Strawberry Fete is held in November each year. It sees the local community come together both young and old to support Wirraminna in both fundraising and fellowship.

With plenty of delicious food, market stalls and our famous Op Shop Fashion Parade, it is always a fun day for all. Our residents get to join in the fun and our community has the opportunity to tour our wonderful facility and connect with residents and staff alike.
